Mind the Belt
Point your hold at the rock; the tick does the rest.
Mining is how every fleet gets rich. Point a mining ship at an asteroid belt and it pulls ore automatically, tick after tick, until the hold is full or the rock runs dry. What you haul, and where you haul it from, decides how far your credits go.
The Extraction Order
Order a mining ship to a belt and it begins extracting automatically: one unit of ore every tick, straight into the hold. Extraction stops on its own once the hold is full or the belt runs dry, and a drained belt refills over time, so it is never gone for good.
Six Minerals, One Ladder
The galaxy holds six minerals on a value ladder that roughly doubles with danger. Sand, the cheapest, sits in the safe starter region; voidglass, the richest, waits only in the deep dark. The further you haul from safety, the more each unit is worth.
Mine Where It Is Safe
Your kibby is unarmed; it never fights back, no matter what finds it at the belt. The Ethereal Expanse is the only fully-secured space in the galaxy, where no raiders spawn at all. Past its borders, mine with an escort or do not mine alone.
